First 48 Hours
Friday, July 17, 2009 It's been 48 hours since I turned this cheaper-skin-care leaf and I've had a few people ask me how it's going, so I thought I'd give a quick update. First I need to correct something in my initial post regarding the moisturizer. Seems I was incorrect in the price, it was actually $7.84 not $6.00, but still better than $32. The eye makeup remover was $2, a Target brand that I compared carefully with the Olay and Neutrogena brands. Same ingredients, but I'll let you know if my eyelashes fall out or anything.
I decided this morning that although I like the new moisturizer, I need something heavier for night. This Neutrogena combination skin works great for during the day but I'm feeling the need for something more hydrating for this 40+ skin.
Back to Target. The super Target on 21st and Maize had more of a selection, including two lines of all natural skin care and cosmetics. I decided to stick with Neutrogena and bought the intense hydration night cream. Hopefully I won't slide off my pillow in the middle of the night.
So far, so good and extra money for a bottle of wine. What? Did you honestly think I'd save that money.

I have the perfect solution for you night cream needs. I will have to mail to you though.
It's an Italian night cream that is heavy but not to the point that you feel that your face is covered in Crisco. And the good news is... It lasts a long time and a friend of mine gets it dirt cheap from Canada. Chalk full of good nutrients for the face!
